Certified Gemologist Appraiser by the American Gem Society
Helen’s knowledge and experience in the jewelry business made her a welcome addition to the team when she joined in 2014. As a gemologist for over thirty years she continues to enjoy helping clients to create a jewelry wardrobe and protect their valuables with appraisal services. Recently she earned the title of Certified Gemologist Appraiser (CGA) from the American Gem Society. She is one of only 400 individuals in North America that have earned this prestigious designation. India has been a member of our team since 2015. Her previous training in watch repair and jewelry design is truly an asset when assisting clients with their jewelry needs. She loves the beautiful results the creative process yields. Whether advising a client on their complex watch repair or helping to design a new engagement ring, she approaches everyday with passion. “When you are doing what you love, it shows! Janice, a native Texan, joined the P.A. team in 1999. Since then she has played a vital role in the growth of the Pieter Andries brand as the liaison between all departments in the company. As President she is in charge of maintaining the complex structure required to manufacture jewelry to be sold directly to the end consumer. Formerly a high school educator, her abilities to lead and multi-task have been tremendous assets in coordinating between the buying, production, and sales departments. Ensuring that every client receives quality and value from their purchase is her priority throughout. According to Janice, maintaining the Pieter Andries standard starts with the right staff. “Pieter Andries Jewelers has a family atmosphere and each member of our team has an important role in producing and selling each piece of jewelry”.
After 20 years as a Museum Exhibits Designer, Carrie followed her passion for vintage adornment and entered the jewelry business, first in retail as a manager of luxury goods and then as a territory sales manager, selling bridal and gemstone lines to independent jewelers.
